Designed by Christian Ghion for the Nontronnaise Cutlery, this table knife marks a point of completion in the synthesis between a resolutely modern approach and the enhancement of the established codes of the Nontronnaise knife.
The handle is made of boxwood, the traditional wood of Nontron, and is pyrographed with the emblematic symbol of the three-pointed arch. This flat-shaped handle contrasts with the more classical ones of other models. With a radical gesture of perforating the tip in a circular fashion, then setting its design with a metal ring, Christian Ghion offers a reinterpretation of the "oldest knife in France" that is both contemporary and light.
